A bridge and Seasons Greetings

First I'd like to congratulate the team behind Spigot on releasing the long anticipated update to 1.8.

Crypto's Cacti Farm v3

Howdy folks.

I know at the end of my last blog entry I promised to get away from cacti farms, however toying around with world edit (when not on the MinecraftCC server) on that VoxelModPack I introduced last time naturally saw me keen on tinkering with cacti some more.
Post contains pictures, please wait on slower net connections.

Crypto's Cacti Farm - Version 2

Howdy folks, today I update my current progress on a cacti farm with a slightly more automated variant that requires no replanting.

Note that I have included images in this entry so it will take a little longer for the page to load.

Crypto's Cacti Farm - Version 1

Simple cactus farm I've been using on a server to save time getting green dye. This design plants 64 cacti and makes collecting it all effortless by the flick of a lever, and is an easy starting point for those looking to get into playing with Redstone in Minecraft.

The Forge Alternative

Comments on Microsoft aside, apologies for the delay between posts.

On top of other unrelated blog issues (net quotas and ISPs); I was also delayed due to making Lite Loader talk properly with Optifine on my laptop machine, strange since the desktop I have made a jar from with the same install process in a previous blog entry worked without any issue. :S

On Microsoft

A brief blog post about my views on the acquisition of Mojang.

Bitcoin, Ads and Donations

I made this into a separate blog entry today to not draw focus away from the server, while allowing me the opportunity to provide full disclosure about how any income generated from this blog is done.

Welcome to Minecraftcc

Today I wanted to introduce you to the Minecraft Server I play on regularly; with thanks to SgtSpike for granting me permission to link his server from my blog.

Note: All comments on this blog are my own opinions and are not as a representative of the Minecraft server.

Humble Beginnings

Hello and welcome to my blog,

I am making this blog as a working diary for buildings and things I recreate in the game called Minecraft. This is my first ever web blog so please be gentle with me as I learn the ins and outs of this new and interesting hobby.
