I personally haven't done anything as game changing lately, however I wanted to share a few pictures of my current build project at the minecraftcc server.
While it is not a 100% faithful recreation project due to a few errors of my own (and needing to fit it inside the map on the server), I think I did a reasonable attempt at recreating the Brooklyn Bridge. Doubly so since I'm not from the US (leave alone New York) so had to rely on various sources of images to try reference for the project.
Currently the server is undergoing work to upgrade to version 1.8, whereupon I can complete the last few bits of blocks to be added to the pillars on the bridge but otherwise I am happy with the results. The rails do work and the ride runs fine, though a little jumpy/jittery on the end user experience thanks to lag.

Proof I am human and should have measured 3 times.

Late edit; the bridge is located via the east exit from build spawn on minecraftcc server. Drop in and visit anytime.
Beyond MC, I have been doing well at tremor games and not only added some more Bitcoin to my tally (reaching the 2 BTC milestone recently) but made the plunge on getting my own Steam account up and running (profile is now listed on the right if you have spare copies of stuff to giveaway on steam) with a few titles from the games you can earn via Tremor Games in my games library atm (currently playing Tropico 3 as a bit of a break between Minecraft and everything else I do beyond it).
Another game I play is X3: Terran Conflict (eventually I'll return to X3:Reunion given I have it parked in my Steam account), which I may create a separate blog for to share the highs and lows of that game which I occasionally run concurrently with Minecraft on my home computer system (the laptop I use for MC, blog entry creation/editing and general web stuff while out and about simply can't run a game like that).
I would like to mention and give thanks to the developer of a utility called Taekwindow. The utility allows you to move windows that would otherwise be unmovable because they steal mouse focus (example, X3: Terran Conflict in windowed mode). You can grab a copy of the utility, and donate to the developer, via the website here.
All that aside; I haven't abandoned the blog but am getting a little tangled up with various odds and ends given it is December (Christmas, New Years and so on). Minecraftcc has also updated the lobby to match the festive season so be sure to pop in and visit (I didn't do any work on it btw).
Seasons greetings and good luck to all readers for the new year.
Happy Minin,
